Scottish National Youth Jazz Orchestra

We’re thrilled to open this year’s festival with a performance by the outstanding Scottish National Youth Jazz Orchestra (SNYJO), one of the UK’s most celebrated ensembles for young jazz musicians.

Known for their energy, creative flair and technical brilliance, SNYJO showcases the best emerging talent from across the country. Their performances blend classic big band repertoire with fresh, contemporary arrangements, bursting with enthusiasm and imagination.
